It's clear that I'm far too obsessed with Star Wars. The very fact that these rumors rankle me is proof positive of that. I can already envision George Lucas releasing the Blu-Ray versions of the existing films (in their current forms), before the three dee-ized versions hit the theaters. Then the stereoscopic Extra Special discs with yet MORE mucked with footage hit market just in time to kindle peoples' interest in the next set of films.

It's just that I loved Star Wars. Episode IV was the first movie I ever saw, and I passed my childhood with that trilogy. They took me from toddler to the cusp of puberty (nice how slave Leia coincided with that). Those are the true wonder years, before life is ruined by being saddled with, y'know, responsibilities.
