Hey, no point in telling us how good they were. We know. I *demand* you sit all the way through part 3 and tell us how it is!

Hey, no point in telling us how good #3 isn't. We know.

I already did. The phrase, "George Lucas is a genius" sums up that review - if you catch my meaning. ;)

No he isn't, Dave, because I don't have to eat shit to tell you it's shit. :)

Nicely put Dee. :D

Nonsense, Godfather is billed as a trilogy. To just pick out the best ones and ignore the one you don't like is irresponsible journalism!

And not all shit are shite. Guano is useful and the dried poop of a certain desert rodent can be used to make tea that helps with digestion. Dry dung can also be used to make smokeless fires if you've ever the need to do so. Pigeon poop are used in tanning hides.

It's not a question of if the movie is shit or not, it's *how* shitty is it?

So Paul, how about the Matrix trilogy next? :P

On Man. Vs. Wild that Bear whatever guy squeezed poo to drink the liquid out of it to like... not die.

Oh it'll give you an infection but it's gotta happen.

And if you review the Matrix I'll hunt you down.

Your first mistake is to ASSume that this is journalism.

Regaling me with the various uses of shit doesn't change the FACT THAT IT IS SHIT - which was my point all along.

And to your third point of "how shitty is it": if what you said were true then the movies we like are merely less shitty than the rest of the shit out there. I don't agree with this sentiment or the erroneous assumptions under which you made it.

Lastly, to your invitation to wallow in shit (a la The Matrix Trilogy), I will bring up the question of "but is it canon".

When a piece of art becomes greater than its creator then that creator must release some of his hold on it. To be sure, he still holds all legal rights to his intellectual property but the art itself now belongs in part to those who appreciate it. I can't imagine Shakespeare writing a sequel to Hamlet or Dickens writing A Christmas Carol 2 and getting away with it. George Lucas only made 3 Star Wars movies, The Godfather was one story told in 2 parts, and The Matrix stands alone as a modern-day sci-fi/kung-fu/Hong Kong action movie classic, as far as I'm concerned. 8-)

And Indiana Jones ended with "The Last Crusade".
