I want to play a console on with laptop.

I did a bit of googling, but everything I found was pretty much people arguing over which method is better or it seemed like they were trying to sell the product.

I want to play my PS2 (Slim, if it matters) using my laptop monitor.

How much would a reasonably priced RCA/VGA adapter cord cost? Is this my best option?

Additionally, once I get the console connected... how would I run it?
