Well if nobody else is moving I feel like taking the couple of human shields, Dan and Dave, and take a look at the corridor. Dan is amnesic, Dave is unconcious, they won't put much resistance.

Dan suddenly has a flashback from childhood. The vague memory of a mustard bottle, a butter knife, rubber gloves, and his pet chipmunk floats through his mind and he begins whimpering quietly to himself. Madcat and Yino begin slowly backing away, a look of worry crossing their faces.

Dave in his unconscious stupor begins twitching uncontrollably, mumbling the phrase, "Making it to Hardee's on time for powdered donuts", or something similar. It was hard to understand his aphasic speech.

Dammit! You just had to save them didn't you.
Ok, so much for human shields.
Unless... Hey Panda! You there?

Hmph. I was already suspicious of Dan; now the freaky mutterings? I knock him unconscious with a blow from my Table Leg of Smiting. I'm not taking chances.

Then I get a long pole from the Armory and use it to push Dave and Dan's bodies further down the hallway, staying alert for any sounds of danger.
