Found this pretty incredible. Apparently, some people got together and formed a Church that follows the way of the Jedi, found it pretty interesting.

So they can have a division into Orthodox Jedi (originals only) and Reform Jedi (accept the prequels)?

Actually, I think the whole idea is pretty cool. I appreciate any church that seems to have the feeling of universal acceptance and oneness, as opposed to exclusion and intolerance. Even if it did have its origins at least somewhat in parody, I think it has some good ideas.

Yeah, what's stronger AIDS or The Force? I guess George Lucas no longer concerns himself with such trivial matters like "credibility" and "internal logic." He's now the biggest, fattest kid in the sandbox who'll only play with you if you follow his archaic rules of conduct, only now no one wants to play his silly games.

George Lucas is an apostate. He may have helped to found our great religion but he has fallen from the purer faith.
