I'd mix Columbus Day with the GB's National Coming Out Day. Hilarity. :3 Like... say... Rissa is trying to explain this complicated sexuality/gender classification with her plant analogies and Xerise chimes in with a "Rissa, you're so smart!" but instead of "sabia" she says "savia".

Of course... this has nothing to do with Columbus Day and you'll think of something much better.

Also... being part Native American, I hate Columbus Day. Grrr. It's more like,
"Beginning of Centuries of Genocide and Misery Day."
"Let's Kill Everyone And Take Their Stuff Day."
"Have Some Smallpox and Broken Treaties, Suckers! Day."
Things like that.

To this day, most reservations are poor and hopeless places to live, and Native American language and culture continues to disappear forever as the last speakers of ancient languages die.
