For the record (mostly for the newcomers), we don't vote on trades. Each time it happened was a needless fiasco. Examples off the top of my head:
-Andrew Luck for Aaron Rodgers. We forced the person giving up Luck to throw in Larry Fitz. Inconsequential.
-A swap involving Fred Jackson for CJ Spiller. Fred-Jax outproduced Spiller down the stretch I think, reversing the objection. Either way, soooo didn't matter.
-I traded DeMarco Murray away for Reggie Bush, trying to make a single year playoff push. I thoroughly lost that deal in the long run (and I'm 0-fer in playoff matches), even though the fuss was about me "trade raping" my trade partner.
We're all big boys and girls, and able to make our own decisions. We all have different valuations, and are subject to the whims of fate regardless. The only reason for us to step in and quash something, is if it's CLEAR that the league is deliberately being wrecked.
