Shoot Castro!

Though I don't have troubles with violent games and all the controversy they generate. I have to agree with the cubans in saying that the Call of Duty: Black Ops "Kill Castro" mission is at least a huge controversy.
But not only for political reasons, I think is a mistake because Fidel Castro is still alive and quite an important image in the world, despite the fact that he's been inactive as of late. I think it must be quite shocking to see kids playing to kill you when you have survived more than 600 attempts against your live. Not only for him, but also for his followers.
In that sense, I think it would have been quite a funny strip to see Raul Castro (Fidel Castro's brother and actual "ruler" of Cuba) playing the game with his brother watching in the back.
BTW, I Loled with the image of seeing young muscle Castro killing Nazis, it could only be better if the nazis were zombies.

Ahhh... but I'm still going to agree with Yino on this one; if you're alive and have survived countless attempts on your life, seeing people make killing you into a game is kind of disturbing and in poor taste.
I want my job description to be: "gets paid to draw sexy ladies." :D

To be fair, if you take it in context... this setting was during the countless times around Operation Mongoose.

On the flipside... we're America! We can do whatever we want without thought of foreign relations! People forget that non-US/UK people see this shit we put out.

I dunno. It's distasteful in principle, but from everything I know about Castro, he has a pretty good sense of humor and in my head he was one of the first people to pick this up and play it.

I bet when he got to the part where he shoots himself he thought, "Pfft, I bet that's one of my many doubles", and he'd be RIGHT.

Jefferson: This is my wife.
(shows Fidel a picture of Marcy)
Fidel Castro: You married the kid from Home Improvement?
Jefferson: (studies the picture) I guess I did. Oh well, she buys me things.
Fidel Castro: So did Russia, and look what that got us!
