Dan, Shipped Back to N.Y..

And so Dan's (and Jynx's) wacky L.A. adventures come to a close. Due to a matter of soicumstances, and me wanting to give Dan a chance to ride in peace, I took it upon myself to handle today's strip. If you love it, thank you. If you hate it... it's Dan's fault, somehow.

Speaking of today's strip, it pretty much wrote itself. The conversation went down more or less as written. Mike and I hammered out the dialogue to make it more web comic friendly, and Mike takes full credit for panel four.

And yes, Jack-in-the-Box tacos are too good for what they are.

That is funny

The ironic thing is that Sarami and I just had them for dinner....I can still feel the tacos in my stomach. I say it is the spoon full of crack they stir into the taco mix that makes them magic and awesome. :D

The Truth

Jack in the Box tacos are beef tacos, according to their web site. So there is, in fact, animal in the tacos.

The statement in the strip was made after hearing on a radio talk show that Jack's tacos were not made of meat.

Still, even with beef in them, those tacos are too damn good for what they are.

Tacos

It's that spoonful of crack in the "meat" mix that gets you hooked, but you crave them for the heroin in the hot sauce.

Yar

If I hadn't eaten already that day, I woulda handled the taco action. It was fabulous. This is def. a condensed version... because the idea of too many panels was like... ugh.

Anyways, more conversation strips to come. (and as a hint, one involves Arturo's pristine taint)

Spoonfulla Crack.

So yeah, it's totally true. Jack in the Box tacos are addicting. I don't even like them, but if they're around I'll eat one, and then I have to have more. It's sad really.
There aren't any Jack in the Boxes in the east coast, at least not north of the Mason-Dixon line, however we have our very own version of "Spoonfulla Crack" and that is the wonder that is White Castle.
White Castle is a simple fast food restaurant which is famous for serving tiny two inch square burgers on steamed buns with less than an ounce of meat on them. They're soft and squishy and go down the esophagus with a texture akin to a contraceptive sponge dipped in beef drippings. Sound gross, right? Or at least unappealing? And that's what you think, until you eat one. Next thing you know you've had 16 more and are blowing businessmen in the park for the money to buy more. There's a four hundred pound man out here who starts every day with a package of thirty white castle burgers which the company lovingly calls a "Crave Case". 30 of them!
If Jack in the Box Taco's are Dumbledore's last gift to man, then White Castle is clearly the work of Voldemort.
