Couple O Tings
For those of you who don't know:
Furries are anthropomorphic animals. Cat-girls are the most common/popular. Furry can also mean a person who's into said anthropomorphs.
Goombella is a character from the Nintendo GameCube game, "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door". She is a Goomba, which are mushroom people in the Super Mario Brothers game series.
In case you were wondering, this conversation actually took place. The gist of it is the same, except it was me talking to Dan on the phone. And no, I do not dress up in egg-plant costumes and dream of frolicking with mushroom people... except maybe Princess Peach... She's hot.

The Truth!!!
Dave had childhood fantasies of being that eggplant dude from Captain N. True story.
Useless Knowledge about Furry culture: Arturo, when he's dressed up... is known as Simba... he 's not very creative.
That is all.

Also
"Furries" also refers to a subculture of people who dress up like animals for various (fucking strange, imo) reasons.

Daisy Is Hotter
For starters she's a redhead, and that kicks ass. Secondly she's not a total drama queen like Peach. Third, she was our pick for team Captain in "Super Mario Strikers" and we've got to show some loyalty.
Also, it is good that you do not dress up as eggplants in your free time. This is not a commentary on your inherent sexual deviancy, as I am one to let people do what they want as long as no one (not involved) gets hurt and I don't have to see it if I don't want to (especially if it involves you and/or James...). No, I'm glad you don't because since time immemorial Eggplants have been a symbol of Video Game Bastardy and I would have to punish you for doing so, if only to soothe the deep rooted trauma perpetrated upon myself via the NES console.
From the eggplant enemies in "Wrecking Crew" that would chase you around on ladders and generally try to kill you, the eggplant dogs in "Kid Niki: Radical Ninja" and their attempts to muss your (ninja) awesome hair, to the Eggplant Wizard in "Kid Icarus" who would in turn turn your head into a eggplant forcing you to helplessly run around as you waited out the curse, fleeing from even the weakest of foes as they would easily be your undoing..
They've never really been about "nice". You see that purple color on anything and you know the pain is coming. Eggplant Wizard even went on to cement his "I'm a big jerk" reputation as one of the primary henchmen of Motherbrain in the "Captain N" cartoon series, making stuff blow up and stealing things from people (like, hypothetically, newborn kittens from crippled children. Then kicking both of them. In the face.)
And speaking of cameos, the Eggplant Men from "Wrecking Crew" were recently seen in "Chibi Robo" for the Gamecube, the Smash Bros. series as trophies and I hear there is a level in "Super Mario Galaxy" where you have to fight giant eggplants (though from what I hear, that's what they're calling the purple piranha plants they put in there.) If Nintendo is that odd benevolent Uncle who showers you in quirky gifts, Eggplants are your cousin who spits in your eye and tries to eat your pet frog because your pain might be good for a laugh....I'm just saying...
Also also, in response to Mike, you've got it all wrong. I am in /no/ way into Lions so that can't be me in that costume. Move along.

You're 100% Correct
Princess Daisy IS hotter than Princess Peach. That was never in question. I simply stated that I am not into mushroom people with the possible exception of Princess Peach. Yes, she's a drama queen, but she's an attractive drama queen.
Once again, I very much prefer Daisy over Peach... oh the things I'd do with Daisy if I was a bad man...

You are 100% a bad man.
