Me Are Sorry

I incorrectly credited Monday's strip, #143 "Why?" to Dan. Mike already pointed that out on the news posts attached to that strip, but I still wanted to apologize for the error... yeah, um, sorry for the error. Mike's run was rather popular with our readers, and we at Squishy hope to be able to con... er... persuade Mike into guest writing strips in the future.

Direman Press has already pointed out on their main page that the site's re-launch has been pushed back, which means we have a bit more time to work out any problems with Squishy Comics. Unfortunately, that also means that Squishy Comics will continue to limp along with its broken forums and quirky site layout. I thank all of you who remain patient with us; it won't be like this much longer.

Today's strip sees the return of Dan Gallagher as Squishy's regular writer. While Tycho at Penny Arcade "shows his solidarity with his fellow scribes" and David Willis of Shortpacked! makes do without his writing staff, I'm pleased to say that Dan shows no signs of going on strike... probably because Mike would continue to write in his stead (I kid, Dan. Much love). I'll have to wait and see if Dee will provide me with a Direman script for Friday. If not, then I'll see what I can wrangle up.

Oh, and one more thing: Call of Duty 4 kicks royal ass. I'm positive Dee will have plenty to say about it on Friday, so I will wait until he decides to grace his audience with his take on that awesome game.
