Watchmen Edition
So, we did hit the 12:01 showing of Watchmen last night. If you've read the comic you shouldn't be disappointed. From what I remember, they kept all of the IMPORTANT shite in it, and only cut out a few things. This DID lead to the movie being close to 3 hours, but still... good shit. They got Rorschach DOWN. The use of music was great and hit you across different decades.
If you haven't read the comic and you're a total action junkie expecting this to be a X-Men style flick, do yourself (and us) a favor. Don't watch it. We had a group in our theater pull the "OMG THAT WAS SO GAY!" at the end. Some people just need knees to the neck!
Past that, nothing really new. Vargas is close to 80 in WoW, so soon he'll be even more of a hermit. Uhhhh... I picked up Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2, and so far I'm loving it. It's Company of Heroes-ish, with 1 building. I, for one, feel relieved having the only structure you NEED being there at the very start. It reminds me of the day I started wearing boxers.
So yup, go see Watchmen if you're not a horrendous tool.
