... Wha? Horns? OH! Yeah, she has horns! And a tail!

The last few Squishy and Direman strips have come out far better than I imagined. While they take a bit more time and effort to produce, the results are worth it. Today's Squishy and Direman also sport cleaner, sharper looking speech bubbles, which make the strips look extra snazzy.

My composition still needs a lot of work, as I'm not entirely happy with the arrangement of the speech bubbles in today's Squishy, particularly the last panel. It's fairly obvious that the bubbles were shoehorned into place. Well, here's to another learning experience.

I actually had a bit trouble drawing the girls in today's strip. Every time I'd sketch them out something just didn't look right. Sometimes Helen and Bianca's body looked too similar, or the girl's poses looked unnatural. Kimmy in particular needs extra attention to make sure she remains visually consistent in every strip. Regardless, all three of the ladies look like their usual lovely selves, so it all worked out. Bianca showing herself off is an added bonus.
