It's True
Not making it up.
Mel Gibson has been trying to claw his way back into the good graces of the movie-going public ever since his drunken comment about Jews during his DUI arrest back in 2006 (BTW that interview with Sawyer is HEAVILY edited so watch it with the proverbial grain of salt) but has been spiraling down the PR hole instead.
His latest effort, the Jodie Foster helmed The Beaver, has him playing a man deep in the throes of a nervous breakdown, from which he can only escape by employing a hand-puppet to interact with his world. I have a notion that this latest role is semi-autobiographical because he desperately needs to be relevant again. Perhaps a meeting with the Jim Henson people?
