I Have Choice Invectives for the RIAA, Myself
Who else sues their own customers for enjoying their product?
I'd like some sort of blog entry rife with choice expletives elaborating on Joel's animosity toward the MPAA.

Madness
Wow... that truly captured the essence of Joel....
Oh, just a little news note. I graduated today.... even though I found out YESTERDAY that I'm two elective units away from graduating... SO! Instead of being home on Monday the 14th... I'll be home June 30thish.
GG CSU System... Thanks for sending me my degree check ahead of time so I didn't have to find it myself the day before my supposed graduation date just to find that I'm short TWO CREDIT HOURS.

MPAA and Smoking
Dan had me draw this last minute strip once he caught wind of the MPAA's move to start using smoking as an influence on a movie's rating. Real Life Joel's actual views on the situation may or may not differ from his Squishy counterpart, but since he is our resident chain smoker and, as Mike puts it, his true essence just lends to it, Dan had him be the messenger.
My personal feelings on the matter are not as extreme. I do agree that a lot of smoking or glamorizing smoking in a film should probably get it a PG rating (sans sex and violence), but anything more just seems a bit silly.
In any case, Dan may want to elaborate further on the news since it was his idea. The best I can do for you is to suggest to do a google search with "mpaa" and "smoking". You're bound to get quite a bit of info on this subject.
Anyway, enjoy the strip.
