Hospital

Hey everyone. It's kinda late and my thoughts are a little disorganized, so I apologize if this is a little choppy, but I feel like sharing a little of my relief with you.

Last Friday my grandma (Momma Vargas' mom) was hospitalized due to pneumonia. As you can imagine, I spent the majority of the day stressed out of my mind with worry, and I can only imagine how much worse it must have been for my mom. Thankfully, the doctors told us that they expected my grandma to fully recover in a few days, but that she needed to stay in the hospital until they were satisfied with her recovery.

I've been making daily trips to check on my grandmother, who's in great spirits and can't wait to go home, as well as my mom who's been staying with my grandmother since she was admitted. I can't pull my mom away, and the hospital is fine with her staying in my grandmother's room, so I guess it's good that my grandmother has constant company.

Anyway, the doctors think another day or two should be enough time for my grandma to be well enough to bring home, so today (Monday morning) I'm feeling quite relieved.
