The Avengers

I recently picked up the Marvel Masterworks trade for the Avengers (Stan Lee and Jack Kirby). For one thing, I'm in critical need of exposure to great illustrators, and they don't come much better than Jack Kirby. For another, it's about time I learn something about the Avengers. And I DID learn a few things. Like, I had no idea that Loki was the Avengers' first villain and is responsible for the founding members teaming up for the first time. I also didn't know that even then Hank Pym (Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Yellowjacket, etc.) was a dick.
