In Case Anyone is Wondering
I cut my thumb a few days ago. I bandaged it up and thought it'd heal up in a few days. Well, it wasn't healing properly. In fact, it was "healing" around this wart-like mass. Using all my medical expertise I concluded, "that can't be right", and decided to see a doc. The doc also concluded that it wasn't right, and suggested that by fire or blade, we remove the offending growth. Well, burn and cut he did, although he was kind enough to numb my thumb up first. Watching the procedure, I doubt I had the will required to grit through the pain.
Well, there's a charred little pit of missing flesh on my thumb at the moment. It's all covered up under a thick layer of bandages. The good news is that I should be fine in a few days (I'm to see the doc next Saturday to make sure). In the mean time, anything requiring the use of my thumb is out. No drawing, no gaming. Well, now's a good time to catch up on TV shows.
