Recycling Old Panels
I had originally drawn this strip several months ago, so it was actually a part of the first few "bad" strips that I kept talking about.
I decided to re-draw the whole thing on my tablet to bring it up to date with the look of Squishy, but I decided to keep the original french fry being dipped in mashed potato panel.
I'm also told that this strip, like many others Dan writes, has some basis on things that have occurred to him. I'll let the two people involved elaborate on the forums (or here) if they care to.
Anyway, I'm still sick and I need sleep. Enjoy the strip.

Well, if you insist...
It all happened several summers ago, on an oppressively sweltering night. With the air conditioning broken, Dan and I disrobed down to our skivvies and started scavenging for anything to cool our throbbing man boobs. I dug up some chocolate ice cream, which he promptly smothered in chocolate syrup. While Dan ate that with my fingers, I lovingly slathered the innards of a bakers' dozen of Hostess Chocolate Fruit Pies into a concoction of Ovaltine and melted Hershey's Kisses. We took turns imbibing this rich ambrosia from a beer bong until we needed to bathe.
We have never spoken of that night, but this loose allegory of a strip has forced me to break my silence.

In all actuality this strip is based, almost verbatim, on a conversation between myself and my good friend Mary Kiley(Jynexia of the forums). The "Marry Me" bit was added in for the strip, mainly because when it happened in reality my then girlfriend was there as well, and she probably wouldn't have cottoned to me proposing to another girl...
...or maybe she would seeing as she's going to be marrying another girl now.

Yuck! That image is gonna keep me from sleeping soundly tonight... hmm, unless Dee is replaced by me and Dan is replaced by The Pussycat Dolls or Jessica Chobot =) YAY!!!
